THE 2010 NIB Hunter Festival of
Sport will be officially opened by
NIB chief executive Mark
Fitzgibbon at abreakfast function
at the Newcastle Harness Racing
Club on Tu esday,July 6.
NBN Te levision'sMike Rabbitt
will interview some of the Hunter
athletes --Samantha Poolman,
Liam Speers, Kellie Johnston,
Georgia McConville and Fiona
McCarthy --during the function.
All of these young people have
been involved in Hunter Academy
of Sport talent development
programs and have done very well
in their chosen sports.
Another featureofthe breakfast
function will be apresentation to
the 2010 Hunter Region Sports
Administrator of the Ye ar.
This awardisnamed after the
late Paul Tr isley and is sponsored
by the NSW Football Federation.
