Incorporating RD7 NSW Hill Climb
THE HILL CLIMB, now in its 52nd year, is organised by MG Car Club
Newcastle and supported by Newcastle City Council.
The cars start the climb at the Bogey Hole and wind through beautiful King
Edward Park past the sunken gardens and the Norfolk pines on their way
to the finish line. Over 75 entries run each day, Sunday's event is the final
round of the NSW Hillclimb Championships which showcases the state's
top Hillclimb drivers. Monday's event is the Tri-challenge Hill Climb between
Newcastle MG, Kempsey Sporting Car Club and Tamworth Sporting Car
Club, many of them local drivers.
The 2 day event attracts a large crowd of spectators to this very scenic spot
with spectators taking up positions on the hillside to watch the action and
take in the fantastic coastline.
A display area will include some interesting cars. A fun day out for everyone.
Organised by MG Car Club Newcastle Inc.
